We bring people together at more than 150 events for our radio brands throughout the year.
With unrivalled access to presenters and performers we are uniquely placed to create distinctive events with the world’s top talent.
Twice a year we hold the biggest hit music events in the UK – Capital’s Summertime Ball and Capital’s Jingle Bell Ball – and the biggest names in music fly in to London to perform for our listeners. In 2017, we brought the likes of Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars and Sam Smith to Wembley Stadium and The O2, as well as Taylor Swift’s only European performance that year.
Capital Up Close brings our listeners closer to the world’s biggest hit music artists in intimate venues. Justin Timberlake and Ed Sheeran have both performed exclusive shows for Capital listeners at London’s indigo at The O2 and KOKO.
Capital’s Monster Mash-Up is a series of three Halloween gigs in three cities featuring sets from the world’s hottest artists, DJs and producers. The line up has so far featured performances and sets from acts including Martin Garrix, Sigala, The Chainsmokers, Rudimental, Tinie Tempah, Zara Larsson, Martin Solveig and Craig David.
We bring Heart listeners closer to their heroes with intimate Heart Live gigs featuring major recording artists such as Robbie Williams and Emeli Sandé, and we also host Classic FM Live twice a year at London’s prestigious Royal Albert Hall.
Celebrating the biggest stars of music, news and entertainment… The Global Awards!
Our major new awards show launched in 2018, bringing together our radio stations including Capital, Capital XTRA, Heart, Classic FM, Smooth, Radio X, Gold and LBC, with the categories reflecting the music, programmes and news aired on the stations. The Global Awards celebrates the biggest and best loved stars of music, news & entertainment in the UK and around the world, across a whole host of genres.
The first ever star-studded Global Awards show took place in front of fans and stars alike at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith, with performances from some of the world’s greatest artists including Sam Smith, Rita Ora, Liam Payne, Kasabian, Andrea Bocelli and Martin Garrix with David Guetta.
